Hailing from Northern New Jersey, Kay is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who mainly plays pop punk, emo, and post-hardcore. Kay was drawn to music as an infant but started playing guitar at 7 years old. He learned many new instruments on the way and hasn't stopped since. The band he formed, Too Much Pressure, played venues throughout New Jersey, including Dingbatz, Crossroads, and Debonair Music Hall. Now a solo artist, Kay plays at local cafes and hopes to add new venues to his journey.  His biggest influences include My Chemical Romance, Blink-182, The Fall of Troy, and Thursday. Kay states that he wants to make music that's true to him rather than satisfying the mainstream.
